From humble beginnings in Guyana, South America, to executive-level roles, she has trained in accounting, tax and law.

Marissa completed a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance and earned her ACCA accreditation (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). She further deepened her expertise with a Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), gaining valuable insights and a multidisciplinary lens into the legal frameworks that influence business strategy and compliance.

Based in Newark, NJ, Marissa has deepened her specialization in U.S. tax planning and compliance, allowing her to guide both individuals and business owners through a new layer of regulatory and strategic challenges. She brings with her a global lens, local precision, and the ability to translate complex tax rules into clear, actionable strategies.
